Welcome to Rotherwood
The Rotherwood is a family-owned and lived-in private estate featuring a beautifully restored 1887 Victorian home and the Grand Carriage Hall, our modern rustic event barn.
Celebrations may take place throughout the estate including our Grand Carriage Hall, Victorian home, courtyard, and outdoor ceremony gathering spaces.
We warmly welcome professional vendors who carry appropriate liability insurance and all necessary state licenses and certifications.
As a family-owned estate, we place a strong emphasis on relationships—with both our couples and the professionals they choose to bring their celebration to life. Every Rotherwood event includes on-site venue management to support our clients and their vendors and help create a smooth, well-coordinated event experience.
If you are a vendor preparing to work at Rotherwood for the first time, we encourage you to connect with us before your arrival. We are always happy to answer questions, discuss event logistics, and help you become familiar with the estate.
Prior to each event, vendors receive a welcome and informational email with helpful details about arrival, access, setup, parking, estate logistics, and other information to help make planning and event day as seamless as possible.
We are excited to welcome you to the estate, support the work you do for our couples, and build relationships with the talented professionals who help make celebrations at Rotherwood exceptional.

Vendor Spaces
We encourage our couples to provide a comfortable place to take a break and enjoy their meal during their reception. Please inquire about spaces provided by the host and venue before your arrival.
Wedding Coordination
We believe every event has its own personality and needs, and every couple should have the freedom to choose a planner or coordinator who fits their personality and style. We respect the professional role of each coordinator and allow them the space to plan, prepare, and lead their client's celebration.
Our relationship with coordinators and planners is intentionally supportive. Rotherwood's on-site management focuses on the estate, venue operations, and property needs while working alongside the planning team to help create a smooth event experience for our shared client.

Vendor relationships and communication are important to Rotherwood. We believe strong relationships benefit not only our shared clients, but also the professionals we have the opportunity to work alongside.
We are always interested in building relationships with exceptional professionals through our preferred vendor network, future styled shoots, creative collaborations, vendor networking, and opportunities to feature and share one another's work.

Media Vendors
Photographers, videographers, and content creators preserve the story of each celebration at Rotherwood.
We value exceptional professionalism and artistry and are happy to appropriately credit the professionals whose work we share. With permission, selected images and films may be featured throughout the Rotherwood website and social media with professional credit and links to the artist's website or social channels. Exceptional vendor experiences may also lead to future collaborations and consideration for our preferred vendor network.

Historic House – Bridal Party Getting Ready & Photography
Designated areas of the historic Victorian home are reserved for the wedding party and their preparation team, with no general guest access. The home offers elegant, private spaces for getting ready and capturing timeless portraits throughout the wedding day.

To preserve the private and intimate nature of the estate, interior access to the historic home is reserved for the wedding party and their approved vendors. General guest access to the home is not permitted.
Grand Carriage Hall – Reception & Vendor Logistics
The Grand Carriage Hall serves as Rotherwood's primary reception space and is designed to support the vendors who bring each celebration together. Dedicated service access, preparation areas, bar facilities, adjustable lighting, and guest amenities help vendors work efficiently throughout the event.

Groom’s Room and Resting Space
The Grand Carriage Hall includes a dedicated Groom's Room providing a private space for members of the wedding party to prepare, relax, and step away during the event.
The room is conveniently located within the Grand Carriage Hall, allowing the wedding party to remain close to the celebration while maintaining a private space of their own.
Ceremony & Reception Locations
Rotherwood offers multiple ceremony and gathering locations throughout the private estate, including outdoor spaces beneath mature trees, lawn areas, the historic Victorian home backdrop, courtyard areas, and the Grand Carriage Hall.
Because event layouts and locations may vary from one celebration to another, vendors are encouraged to review the event plan with the couple or coordinator prior to arrival. Rotherwood's on-site management is also available to assist with estate access and location-specific logistics.
Outdoor tented receptions may also be accommodated in designated areas of the estate when arranged in advance. Tents and related rental equipment are not provided by Rotherwood.
